Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage our financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash transactions.
- Prepare and file tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and risk management.
- Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
- Coordinate with auditors for annual audits and compliance checks.
- Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to management.
- Suggest ways to reduce costs and enhance revenues.
- Stay updated with financial regulations and accounting standards.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Indian GAAP/IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books, etc.).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of tax laws, compliance requirements, and statutory regulations.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce (B.Com, M.Com) or Finance.
- Professional certifications like CA-Inter, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage (optional).
Experience:
- 1–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing roles.
- Freshers with strong accounting knowledge may also be considered for junior roles.
Compensation:
- Basic Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (depending on experience, industry, and location).
- Annual Bonus: Based on performance and company policy.
- Incentives: For specific financial milestones or cost-saving initiatives (in some companies).
